Fashion model, photographer, English music enthusiast and graphic designer Pranav Bakhshi has been keeping busy during the coronavirus lockdown.
In his column Pranav talks about the various activities that have kept him occupied during a testing time for so many of us.

New Delhi’s 19-year-old, Pranav Bakhshi broke many stereotypes when he became the first Indian male model with autism to walk the ramp.
Hi, I’m Pranav Bakhshi. I am India’s first model with autism. Autism is my superpower. I first realised I wanted to be a model when I attended the Art for Autism festival in Mumbai. I have always liked to pose for the camera. I saw models walking the ramp walk on a big screen in a mall.
I told mom and my sister that I want to be like them. Mom and Nikita (my sister) said that I am my own boss and I do whatever I want. Mom and Nikita are so proud of me because I am so concentrated on what I want to do.
For me, life is about being happy. Life is about enjoying and that’s it. My mom had told me once that happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own actions.
I believe in four actions for a happy life:
Fitness, physical and mental is the first requirement for happiness. I love my exercise routine, high protein diet and cheat meals on Sundays!
Music is my life! It is the strongest for of magic. I love listening to 94.3 Radio One. I am a big EDM fan. It is awesome. I have a long list of favourites.
I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn't say any other way. I have learned photoshop and I want to make graphic designing my career.
Sports not only helps me to stay fit, but also helps fight anxiety. Sports allows me to challenge myself and set new goals. I love playing golf.
I love my sister Niksie the most in the whole wide world. She loves me and cares for me so much. And she supports me in all my ideas, dreams and plans.
Nikita always wants me to be safe and she says that she does not want people to hurt me. She also helps me in handling so many things.
